Volunteering can be many hours or only a few minutes a year. All help is appreciated, no matter how big or small. Most opportunities to help don’t involve a hefty time commitment and can be as simple as donating a item for an event. See sometime you’d like to help out with? Let us know!
One-Time Opportunities
Fall Book Fair: Help set up books & merchandise, volunteer during the book fair, & tear down.
Bus Driver Breakfast: Organize/bring items in for a breakfast to show appreciation for our bus drivers & assist with setup/cleanup.
Fall/Winter Conferences: Organize and/or contribute snacks for teachers & help with set up/clean up during parent-teacher conferences.
Yankee Candle Fundraiser : Assist with distribution of catalogs, order forms, tabulate orders, & distribute products.
Spring Flower Sale : Assist with distribution of catalogs, order forms, tabulate orders, & distribute products.

Ice Cream Social: Organize and/or assist the day of the ice cream social.
Family Movie Night: Coordinate food/drinks for those who pre order, and/or volunteer at the event.
Liberty Lollapalooza: End of the year celebration. Work with staff to organize, and/or assist the day of.
Reflections: Facilitate the National PTA “Reflections” program to recognize students for the visual & performing
arts entries.
Senior Send Off: High School Seniors returning to their elementary school prior to graduation. Plan and/or assist the day of the Senior Send Off
Teacher Appreciation: Help plan & facilitate events to give back to Liberty teachers & staff.
Winter Conferences: Organize snacks/contribute snacks & help with set up/clean. up.
At Home Opportunities (Ongoing or One-Time)
Box Tops: Collect box tops on the collection dates, cut & organize to send in box tops to General Mills twice a year.
Welcome New Families: Reach out to welcome new families to Liberty
Ongoing Opportunities
Bulletin Board: Help maintain & update our bulletin board in the lobby about PTA events.
Communications: Facebook page, website, twitter, & any other communication to keep families informed.
Curriculum Liaison Council: Represent Liberty at Worthington Schools Curriculum Council monthly meetings. Learn what is happening with curriculum in our district, & report back to Liberty.
Family Fun Nights: Coordinate events to bring our school community together such as restaurant nights, skate parties, etc.
Landscaping: Facilitate the work of parent/student volunteers to maintain the landscaping on school grounds.
School Entrance Sign: Updates the sign at the school entrance.
School Photography: Coordinate students & forms on picture day. Work with the photographer to gather parent/staff pictures, organize & proof the yearbook.
Spirit Wear: Promote, organize, & distribute spirit wear.
Walk/Bike to School Days: Organize, promote, and/or be a walk/bike depot leader to lead students to the school.
